Commercial Rational
I created this commercial because I believe glasses are more than just a tool used to see better. I tried convey that this particular pair of Warby Parker frames is an extension of my personality and the ultimate fashion statement. I utilized Instagram as part of my message because the target audience I had in mind is people in my age group of around 18-30 and I know virtually everyone using social media in my age group can relate to that. The ideal place to show my commercial would on Facebook because it does not include a lot of speaking and when people watch videos on Facebook they typically do not have the sound on anyways. YouTube and TV would not be ideal places for this commercial because it is too long to keep someone engaged before a YouTube video and people my age tend to not watch TV (besides streaming online, which does not have that many, if any commercials).
